Last June 29th, the twelfth edition of the Tendencias Awards was held at the Veles e Vents building in Valencia, a magical place! 💫

The gala is characterized by bringing together year after year creators, influencers and entrepreneurs of the moment in order to allocate the profits to the foundation El Secreto de la Filantropía. And also, of course, to recognize the trajectory, effort and passion of the winners among which stands out our founder and designer Rocío Botella with the recognition to the Fashion Company. Proud to belong to this team!!! Award well deserved!!!!

The night was amazing! The Fashion Company award was presented by Meri Lozano (@merilozanop), she looked spectacular, along with Jose Manuel Benvanet, Valencian entrepreneur of El Atelerier de la Flor.

Rocío, very excited, collected the award and dedicated a few words of thanks to the whole team and of course, to her little Carlota (she was a mom 3 weeks ago 😍). He also recalled the beginnings of THE-ARE, how it all started and the effort it has taken to get to the point where we are now.

"When I have ever been asked what is entrepreneurship, my answer has always had two sides: illusion and dreams. But also: work and sacrifice." This is how Rocío explained her facet as a businesswoman and entrepreneur.

"THE-ARE started from nothing and, like us, has become self-made. We continue to make garments Made in Spain, from Valencia. With that essence of the beginning, but with a structure of more than 70 people, 99% women."

From the team, we are very happy to be part of this story and we are very excited to make THE-ARE continue growing and betting on fashion in Spain.
